Though Cameron Diaz has stepped back from the limelight in recent years, she’s had some incredible fashion moments throughout her career.
Who can forget the little red slip dress she wore in The Mask or the black Charlie’s Angels jumpsuit? Or, in real life, Chanel at the Golden Globes, Prada at the Oscars or the ripped jeans and flat cap look sported often by the Queen of laid-back Californian style.
However, the 47-year-old has now shared which of the many red carpet dresses throughout her career were her favourite, and it’s giving us a much-needed dose of nostalgia during these stressful times.
Appearing in a quickfire interview on her longtime make-up artist Westman Atelier’s YouTube channel, Diaz chose the dresses she wore to the 2001 Academy Awards, plus also her 2009 Golden Globes look as her favourite red carpet moments ever.
In 2002, Diaz graced the Academy Awards red carpet in an Emanuel Ungaro silk wrap dress emblazoned with a large, red floral print, reflecting now that she ‘loves that one’.
Eight years later, Diaz attended the Golden Globes, opting for a completely different style, but equally enchanting for a black tie event – a one-shouldered fuchsia Chanel column dress.
In recent years, Diaz has essentially retired from acting and has been spending time with her family including her husband Benji Madden and her baby daughter – who she welcomed in December – called Raddix.
